Hilton Garden Inn

This is a new 176 room, 188,000 square-foot hotel constructed on the University of Wisconsin campus adjacent to the Kohl Center, the home of UW’s basketball and hockey teams. Our work included lighting, power, voice/data cabling, emergency power, and fire alarm system. The entire project had an extensive 3D model created by the ours and others’ advanced virtual construction team. The BIM model was used for extensive multi-trade prefabrication for the entire project. The condensed mechanical areas were modeled in detail in order to complete the project on an aggressive timeline. Hotel rooms were fully mocked up to confirm locations of all contractors’ scopes of work.
