Low-voltage VDV

These two greenfield elementary schools, totaling 250,000 square feet, were constructed simultaneously in a single year. Westphal was responsible for all electrical systems including, but not limited to: lighting, power, fire alarm, two-way communication, building intercom, security card access, security cameras and low-voltage VDV. This project was design-assist, meaning we collaborated with the design team by providing constructability ideas to give the owner the best product and value. The most challenging aspect about this project was the time constraint; the project needed to be completed by the time school started for the 2018-2019 school year.
